'NKWOBI'
My dear readers i don't want to go into much details on the event here, but I felt I had to share this phenomene of 'nkwobi' and 'isiewu' which has captured the hearts of even our fellow neighbouring African brothers and sisters. Bone matter na very serious issue. I had someone who nearly threw me down on the floor with hugs and kisses on bringing back souvenirs from igbo land to them.
The very first time I decided to put my nkwobi skills into action nearly resulted in a fight as I had just made a little quantity to satisfy the number of invitees for the event. My dearest igbo brother wasn't hearing of it that this much awaited feast wasn't available in the quantity he had hoped for. I found myself trying to appease the guests like I was supposed to be appeasing the gods of our land (like in our Nigerian homevideos). So, I went into overdrive and began to prepare the traditional dish. At this moment I want to ask maybe because I am igbo or maybe from Nigeria, abeg wetin dey for this nkwobi sef. No be meat and sauce. I get offers from Africans of all languages for this prepartion (not that I'm not enjoying the local limelight I get from it, I have to feel too joor) but dear readers I'd really like to know what you guys think when eating 'nkwobi and 'isiewu' and how it makes you feel. I couldn't help but notice the happiness my friend and clients do get from eating it.
Enjoy,
xoxo
