FLAME OF THE FOREST

FLAME OF THE FOREST a.k.a. "African Pride" Made with a combination of the amethyst and jade while the orange crystal swarovskis sit atop like flowers. Woven in a spiral design in rows with gold beads to seperate each section.
Hi everyone, souhaitant un bienvienu à la " Flame of the forest". Also known as the African Pride  She is unique in her own right. she doesn't need much of an introduction. Before coming up with her name, I asked myself what could be this loud and beautful at the same time, what could be this attractive and give you so much confidence at the same time, what could make everyone seek you out in the midst of the crowd ? Hence, the name "flame of the forest". The flame of the forest is a unique flower found on the African continent. It's flowers bloom in the summer giving both shade and beauty to it's environment. Its leaves carrying the delicate but steady flowers as they move in the gentle African breeze; Yep, one description for just one ring and that's the sentiment this ring brings. For those of my fashionistas who love to be bold and beautiful, the answer lies in the flame of the forest. Made with a combination of the amethyst and jade while the orange crystal swarovskis sit atop like flowers. Woven in a spiral design in rows with gold beads to seperate each section.

HOW TO ACCESSORISE YOUR OUTFIT-HOLIDAY INSPIRED!!!

Hello Loves & a wonderful Christmas to y'all. The holiday fever is catching on and I'll tell you this I'm highly infected now & infectious. (lool) not even the cold can deter me this season. Warmest winter though. Most times I secretly wish it could really be cold to challenge my fashion sense for the very cold days.

I was feeling @therealmaryjblige type of way for this look. Someone recently asked me what was with all the revamped styles and I told the person I'm trying to make the best of all I've got. Realised I buy quite a lot and most times, I've got outfits that I haven't even worn more than once, and this blazer from @jordache is one of them. That hat I could could count how many times I've worn it. Like I was saying I was inspired by Mary J. Blige for this look and like it or not I'm a sucker for hats. Yep, they get to me and it's a must have for this season. It really gives your look that edgy feel and it's a classic. You could never go wrong with a hat.

Ask Mary J. she'll tell you( haha). The blazer is from @jordache which I got in the winter of 2012 and I've worn only twice. You see my life!!!!. And I must dare say that the look came out much better than I anticipated.
I paired the blazer with a pair of jeans which I'm sorry I don't have a picture of and a pair of boots from +ShoeDazzle.

So guys for lack of gist to gist you guys, I'm going to stop here and please do leave your comments and questions in the  comments section. I'd love to read what you think about this look.
And keep spreading the love of Christmas wherever you are.

HOLIDAY FASHION OUTFIT (WINTER LOOK)

Hello sweethearts, I hope you're all settling in wonderfully to the holidays. How can we talk about holidays without talking about love, sharing and all the sweet beautiful things that come with it. I watched a video yesterday of a grandpa who feigned his death just to see his children and grand children and it struck a cord in my heart that most of us only have to hear bad news before we show that we care. I've come to equate that also with the world we live in today which has become so egoistic, selfish and self centred. I was speaking to a friend of mine sometime ago and while I was talking about making the rounds in Nigeria to see all of them, she told me that everyone is busy and no one has time for that anymore. It hasn't stopped her from being my friend tho, but it made me seem like I was the only one who really cared enough to show that love and care to the extent of wanting to fly down and see her and the others wherever they were. I haven't given up on the fact that we can still show love and live it even in these dangerous and evil times........

that's what separates us from ego, pride and arrogance. The reason for the season is sharing and showing love even to those who just don't like you for no reason, or those whom you're quarrelling with. Make the bold step and you'll see how better you'd feel.

You know the word forgiveness wasn't for the person who offended you, it's actually for you who was offended so that you'll be free and know joy. (Think about it).
Anyways back to this beautiful outfit which I totally threw on together, I didn't know how it was going tools or the reaction I was going to receive till I stepped out. Most people kept asking where did I get the outfit from and believe me I've had this dress and boots for the past 5 years. (hehehehe the benefits of buying good quality). Except the poncho souple which is totally new from C&A and as always my hair in a good ol' #chignon or #updo as most of like to call it these days.
For the holidays I think it's lovely and chic at the same time. I know some people have a hard time with looking good and fashionable during winter and believe me I had that problem once but then, I also discovered that in winter you could really get away with a lot of things especially oversized clothing and don't get me started on the coats.
Anyways , I hope you all enjoy this look as much as I did and feel free to share your thoughts and your pics for holiday fashion ideas. I would be so glad to see them too.

Bon weekend et Joyeux fetes.

HOLIDAY INSPIRED MAKE UP LOOK

Bonjour mes amours. How are you all doing this fine Sunday evening. I couldn't keep away even if I wanted to. Despite the workload I have and my forth coming exams, I smell this as probably my last chance to do this. Anyways if you follow me on the IG, you must have seen this pic and I promised to give a full outfit look when #mbathingsallow. So what i've decided to do is to have two posts up  simultaneously, so that should cover me at least till I'm through with my exams.

Like I said on Instagram, don't y'all just love the look of the ol' #chignon? Well, too say the truth it's the easiest thing I can do to my hair at this moment view the circumstances. With winter making it's entreé into France quite late this year, I decided to do a fashion spin on things which I really don't do often and hopefully will do more. Anywho, I was really feeling the look and that highlight that's shining to the moon and back!!!!. I decided to go for #darklips and #nudeeyes. the inspiration for this look actually came from +sonjdradeluxe and I feel the look die. Watch her vids like crazy.
So as I was saying, with winter debuting quite late, sister must cover body and look sexy at the same time.

Hope you all enjoy this look as much as I did. And feel free to post your versions of this look as well. I'd like to see yours as well.

Products used:
Face
Eyebrows- Benefits brow zings - dark
Eyes- Philip Martin's bronzing powder doré
Lips-Rouge Divine Eugene perma Espana

Spa of the world hawaiian kukui cream & Spa of the world japanese camellia cream

Hello juliettsstyle blog lovers,
I hope you'll having a fab weekend like I am. Unbelievably true we're still experiencing 23° weather here in France and I still can't believe my luck.I remember chatting on disqus sometime with some bloggers and the topic was autumn colours and how they make us feel. I was one of those who said loads of stuff about how the weather could be depressing sometimes but then we could always light it up with great fall lip colors. But in this conversation I never mentioned skin. Skin has always been something very important to me and I believe that a great skin will accommodate make up better, clothes, colors etc.

I'm sure many of you will agree and some would say how do you mean? When your skin is refreshed and hydrated and moisturised, you see the value and the real complexion shine through. It's like every thing seems clearer. That's the power of a good skin care regimen. The bodyshop like I stated in a previous post here is one of those products that you get mixed feeling about until you begin to use it.

I actually went into the store looking for the shea butter moisturising cream which by the way is one of the best moisturisers of the bodyshop range especially during the winter season. lo and behold I discovered the Japanese Camellia cream. Usually at this time of the year, you get products in plus sizes in most cosmetic stores but then the plus size this time was the Japanese Camellia cream, velvety soft and smooth to the touch and skin. It was created as a new range of moisturisers and hydrating creams called Spa of the world and it's come to stay. The cream comes in a 350ml pot and my dears and this was in October, I'm not half way yet. Thick and rich and spreads evenly on the skin without giving the feeling of greasiness. The perfume from this is heaven. Not overpowering but enough to wake up your senses. Since I've started using bodyshop products, I've not looked back since and I highly recommend it. If you're looking for that moisturising and hydrating cream, here's the one for you, One other great thing I love about this cream is that when the sun hits your skin, you begin to glow. It's not a glow with glitter, but a glow which people ask what are you using. A skin repairer and a relaxing cream.

With my latest schedule akin to that of a mad man, It does actually keep me and my skin relaxed and refreshed. I got the product in 2 different perfumes Japanese Camellia cream and the Hawaian Kukui cream . Secondly, I was attracted to the volume of this pot. Like I stated earlier, it's 350ml, and I'm still yet to reach the bottom of the first pot.

Has anyone tried this cream? Tell me what you think about it. Did you like it or not? If you've never tried it and eventually you do get it, please I'd like to know your opinion on this product. Drop your thoughts and comments in the comments box, I'd love to read your opinions too.

And as much as I'd love to keep writing and going on, I've got to bid you'll good night.
Talk soon,

Juliet.
XOXO
