I dared......

Hi lovies remember i said that i would start blogging more often, so let's just say I just got my groove back.
Well, I dared a colour which I'm not used to and need i say I was la belle de la balle.(the belle of the ball). The colour gold had always signified to me too flashy and tasteless until i decided to risk it myself and here and now i confess I'm eating humble pie and I take back my words especially to those who have worn it and I had given a piece of my mind. Gold rocks y'all!!!!!!
I'll be hitting you up with more from my fashion section and my beauty dos and don'ts.
 Chao!!!

Hey people,
Yes, I know, it's been a while I blogged and I'm sorry. It's been one crazy work period and I'm hoping that I'll be blogging regularly from now on. With the summer holidays almost through, girls, boys there's a lot of juiciness coming your way. I'll be showcasing fashion trends and upcoming autumn and winter looks. My go to skin routine which I had the opportunity to share on my friend's blog, and my latest acquisitions and the next step to my fashion ideas. So be on the look out and keep reading and leaving your comments.

Now my country people, It's really time to start rejoicing cup or no. Meanwhile many of you including my humbl self didn't  think that the Super Eagles would have come this far. really I have never been more proud of Stephen Keshi and better still the French press can't stop talking about him.
I'm not a football fan, but when it comes to Nigeria, I could easily develope high blood pressure;  haba these boys will not kill someone. Emenike I give you a very big thumbs up; the Bible says we should give honour to whom honour is due, Sunday Mba your God has remembered you and as from now He will never forget you. I predict Chelsea for you in Jesus Name. My dear any international club that signs you abeg gooo. I'm not a preacher oo for those of you out there, I'm just conveying my sentiments to our own Abia State born. Mikel Obi your humility is priceless, I can't put a word to and all the other football players whom I don't know their names, abeg make una no vex, I'm just a Sunday, Sunday football fan, but your astounding victory couldn't be washed uner the carpet just like that. I would have written this piece a while ago but I held myself back, and I'm glad I did.
So dearest Super Eagles take us to the finals. Seeing the likes of Okocha and Kanu Nwankxo brought a very strong feeling of Nostalgia and tears to my eyes. I had so much confidence (even though I am nowhere near South Africa or planning to visit anytime soon) looool; that our boys will deliver.
Daniel 'the bull' Amokachi, I'm so glad to see you in form. I will never forget when I always dreamt of dating you and throwing all the épé on the Tunisian wife you married (God help us and forgive me) I just couldn't forgive her................ anyway back to the story so, Ike Sorunmi, wonderful support to Keshi you guys and may you all also find support with whatever, whenever and however you may need.
Wonderful reading y'all.......

Hi people. this is me trying to be beautiful for you. Yeah, you heard me right beautiful.
Not like I'm vain or anything but I believe every woman should spend good quality time with her self and her looks. I'm speaking especially to you married ones out there. Keep your husbands asking for more. Sometimes I've come across women who tell me that all men are cheats, I'm not going to say they are wrong or right but what I'm going to say is make them feel like you are still marketable, keep them on their toes and admiring you. I tell you it works. spice things up all the time like when he was toasting you, and that man even when he's been out, he'll still feel that there's a better deal at home. As for our single ladies out their keep doing your thing but don't ever turn yourselves into a play thing in the hands of men. Like it or not most men still look for the old fashioned girl who knows what's up and in the same vein you keep them on their toes. iI'm going to leave you guys to read and digest and in the meanwhile check out the rest of the pics in the gallery.

 ThanK You God,

Top of the morning to you all. It's raining and cold in France but I cannot complain. I give all the glory to God cos He says in evevry situation we should give thanks.
This morning I was going to talk about fashion and style as usual but I decided to go a little bit religious on all of us.
You know that feeling you get when you have something you don't deserve but you have it anyway.....
Well that's what I'm talking about and being thankful to God.So many of us are in positions that we never dreamed of and then act like everything fell on your lap.
Let me tell you a story- There was this day I was coming home from work and met this French man. On a good day I wouldn't have spoken to him but he walked up to me and asked me if I spoke English and I replied him yes and that I do teach English as a language professionally. He asked me if I could teach him and his family the English language and I said why not ( i had begun to calculate how much i was going to make from the family and arrange a package for them and keep them on my bill for a long time). On the first day of our lesson I went with my son cos I couldn't get a baby- sitter for him and I had started conjuring all the lies I was going to tell so that they could keep my kid around. I walked into the house first of all see mansion (omo it is not beans oo) and everything in that house looked so beautiful and they  walked out to welcome us (ie mother and father). I started apologising for coming with my son and they didn't even mind and told me the more the merrier. I was to say the least surprised cos French people do not mix family and business especially if they are the ones paying. They were so nice to my son and after a while I began to ask for their children cos it seemed somewhat bizaar that the kids hadn't come out cos through pleasantries I could easily put them on the level of English language they knew and get to work, at this moment they asked me to follow them and there on the bed were the kids who looked very okay but they couldn't move, everything was done for them through the use of machines and I didn't know when I asked to be excused and started crying in the bathroom. As for my pikin he was just having a field day and playing around and each time I tried to scold him they would say (laisse lui jouer) ie let him play. Each time I walked into that house I always left thanking God for the life I have and that of my family. I may not be a millionaire but I have what millionaires would wish for. This also goes for all our brothers and sisters back home in Africa, most of us live by the grace of God back there and it should be enough for us to give Him thanks all the days of our lives. Over here in Europe it may look like they have it all but .......... e still remain.
Have a wonderful day folks

Introduction

Hi everyone,
I am Chinyere. I'm a Nigerian living in France and my blog is all about fashion. Fashion dos and don'ts and ridiculous too. pardon the language but hey when you get out there and you see what some of our girls put on especially the Africans ( I don't want to talk about only our Nigerians, though we are known to have fashion sense but ......)
So, like I was saying "the ridiculous". I remember at one time I was actually at a shopping mall here in France, Lafayette to be precise, and I couldn't help but notice a girl who wore these pair of jeans that barely covered her bottoms. I had to stop and stare and the amamzing thing was even the 'oyibo' were looking at her, and someone then asked why is so indecently dressed and not covered up and I replied cos she's wearing undersized clothes ( in french of course). Yes, that's what I call them cos she was so uncomfortable and pulling up the jeans to cover up and she looked more ridiculous than ever. I mean what's the point of coming out believeing you are dressed only to keep  dressing up on the road ?
You can't even sit down in the public or at a restaurant. Please my dear sisiters I plead with us to try to be decent and well put together when leaving your homes. Funny how men are more attracted to women who are well dressed than the ones who dress like what was thrown out of her home.
So, let us try to emulate 'oyibo' in the good things. Most of these stars just wear some of these things for their shows and what have you but in their everyday lives they do dress quite decently.
Take care of you all.
